Pavel Klyushin was born in Moscow in 1981. Since he was 9 years old he started playing the guitar. From 1996 he studied at the Gnessin College in Moscow, where he finished he studies with distinction in 2000. Amazed from new occurring possibilities, Pavel gets in 2000 various engagements and plays at concerts in Russia and Europe. It is also during this period in which he starts preparing for his studies at the University for Music in Cologne.
In 2002 Pavel Klyushin takes on his studies by Professor Tadashi Sasaki at the University for Music Cologne and succeeded in 2008 successfully. Afterthat he studies concert exams by Professor Joaquín Clerch at the Robert Schumann University for Music Düsseldorf and terminates his studies in 2012 with distinction.
Already during his studies attends Pavel Klyushin Mastercourses by famous guitarists, like Thomas Müller-Pering, Aniello Desiderio and Roberto Aussel. He wins in various international guitar competitions ,
e.g. 1st Price at the Concorso Internationale di Chitarra F. Sor in Rome/Italy, 2nd Price at Ciudad de Coria/Spain and a lot more. As a result he receives numerous concert engagements and master concerts at international festivals in Europe where he plays on a regular basis as a solist as well as a member of chamber music together with flute, mandoline and violine.
Since over 20 years is Pavel Klyushin a guitar teacher at music schools. Furthermore he teaches all levels of international master courses and taught guitar students as an assistant of Professor Tadashi Sasaki and Professor Joaquín Clerch during his studies.
